I’m buying this Allis Chalmers 712H this Sunday for $550. The guy who owns it bought it new and has had it ever since. He just had the engine rebuilt last year and says everything works perfectly on it. What do you all think? Is $550 a good price or too high? Edited by offdutyangler - 06 Aug 2014 at 7:28pm |

You'll love it. I don't think $550. is to awful bad considering it has a pretty fresh engine sitting in the frame. Ya gotta' figure the guy probably had at least $200.-$300 in the rebuild if he had it done right. Those 700 series are one tough animal! Just gave my nephew the 716H that I used for snow plowin'. The more you pushed that Hydro stick forward, the more that puppy pushed! I'm building another 716H at the present time. Not sure what I'm gonna power it with yet tho. Good luck with your new ride! Them old one lung Kohlers are a tough engine...
