Caught the plain old tall Tingley boots down to about ten bucks and bought a pair.
Within days, I was feeling cold water on my feet and found both boots had cracks around where the sole meets the uppers.
I thoroughly cleaned with Naptha and laid a bead of Shoe Goo along the cracks and let it cure for 48-hours.
These repairs have so far held and the Shoe Goo has remained the neutral clear color.
Then, I started getting broken tears on the uppers; first a tiny 1/2" and within days grown to two inches.
On these, after a thorough cleaning and scuffing,, I used the soldering iron to melt "stop" holes at each end of the tears, and melted a series of holes such that I drew the split together with small zip-ties; then, I covered the whole mess with a layer of Shoe Goo and let it cure.
I have made this identical repair on both boots.
My repairs were fine and leak free for about six weeks; then, the Shoe Goo turned yellow, lost it's grip, and fell off --- both boots.
My understanding is Tingleys are made of PVC.
Forty years ago, they were made of a similar rubber to old timey inner tubes and plain old tube patching would fix any leak that might occur and the leak stay fixed.
Forty years ago, I could get five or more years out of a pair and now I can't get them to last six months.
The price jumps around from over fifty bucks to occasionally a bit over ten bucks --- from my experiences, ten bucks is too much.
Is there anything that will repair these PVC boots and them stay repaired ?

If tire repair materials don't work anymore and it's PVC, why not try PVC glue and such? Couldn't hurt

If they tear, leak, fall apart within a couple weeks, how the heck would you expect a repair to last? $10?? You’ve got more than that farting around with them. I fully realize it’s next to impossible to buy something good to begin with. But trying to fix $10 boots?

Yeah so I heard, and thought about it. But then again, how much does shoe goo cost? The electricity for your soldering iron? You own a soldering iron, wouldn’t seem like it would take that much time to earn $10 with it. My farm isn’t none too prosperous this year and last, but it isn’t too hard to look around and find something to do worth more than $10.

Nothing lasts like it used too, we all know that and like you it burns me up to have to accept that. I still think if a business whether it be Tractor Supply, Wally's, Orschelns (now Bomgaard's in our area) or who ever sells this JUNK, they should have to take the junk back if it doesn't last. But there are bargains at times that are legitimate mark downs of good quality items, like Bomgaars had some Nocona and Justin Western boots that were 50-75.00 off last week
But like I tell people, if it sounds too cheap....you probably get what you pay for. J know the chain saw I bought from the local dealer last week was higher, but it is way better than a cheaper one at Bomgaar's

I never could get Tingley boots to last when I milked cows. Always wore LaCrosse over shoe boots.

try to find a pair of ankle high rubber over boots anymore in my area my tingy boots are rubber and one does a bicyle patch on them but they are getting thin after 25 years

they make RUBBER boots and they make PVC boots.... and they are GUARANTEED for some period of time... You started patching and burning and tie wire in a few weeks... and bought them for $10. .... Were they USED or OLD STOCK ? Should have gone back to the store if it was a legit purchase / warranty. ..

I've worn their low slip-ons to keep feet dry and a bit warmer when around wet jobs for decades. They're kept behind the seat in pickup. I've noticed the last few pair have only lasted about 2 or 3 years, used to wear the tread off bottoms or get them cut. Usually now when pulling on I get a chunk pulled out of them.

Just about all electronic stuff out there that has a bit of a brain has it's imminent demise already programmed in; printers are one of the worst offenders.
