I moved 2 of the tractors out of the driveway infront of the garage into a barn for winter.
My one neighbor said "Hey, You finally got that junk out of your driveway!" in an extremely chipper voice. Needless to say, I didn't give him quite the same look he gave me.

i have been on both sides of that one . have neighbors that stop and tell me what i have been doing and i am amazed that anyone would notice. then there are the times i have noticed equipment moved. just bought a woods flail needs bearings but just great for my little 40 hp tractor i spied it in a fence row ten to fifteen years ago and finally stopped. bought it for 150 and greased it up and flailed 40 acres of regrowth on timothy before fall.

When i was a kid back in the sixtys, Mom told me to always wave when all the nosy people would drive by on Sunday afternoon to see what we bought now. Once we caught about 15 with there noses itching when we were tearing down an old chicken house on a new farm 19 miles from home.
I get gruff now and again cruising by property that's coming up for sale, either by foreclosure or back taxes. Sometimes the owners aren't real friendly.
