went to TSC today, they had them smaller scaffolds on sale, (same ones HF sells too) for $139. the manager said they only have one, and I wanted 2 of them, the dude even looked up on their web site and it said they only had the one (display model). I asked if they had anymore in the back room? they said NO...just have this one. the dude was kinda stalling and my old lady....oooops….I mean my loving wife said outloud "looks like he don't want to work today" I think the manager heard her say that too! I asked if I could get a rain check for that price? they said yes and was about to fill out the info they needed. the manager sent the one employee's over to start to dismantle the floor model, then a females voice came over the inter com and said there were to of them in the back room! LOL...so when any of ya'll go there, always ask if there is anything you want/need in the back room if they are out up front!

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

Wal-Mart a few months ago...
Doing some shopping with the wife and come across a manager's special on this 55" smart TV. Normally something like $2600.00 but on special for $869 on an isle display in the box. Our bedroom TV has been "freezing" lately and you need to unplug/plug in to get it to work so a new TV has been in the discussions. Call a worker over who happens to be the electronics department manager. Ask him some questions and decide to buy as it might be a day or even a 1 or 2 hour special. Goes to the back room, then comes back out with no TV. Scans the bar code again and it shows he has 1 in stock, goes to the back room again and about 10-15 minutes later comes back and you could tell he was pissed. He said "I am sorry but the inventory is off and we have no more of these TVs ". I asked "don't you have 1 is stock according to your computer?" and he said "yes". I responded "could the 1 in stock be this TV?". He got this blank look on his face and said "I will go find a cart to haul this up to customer service". Moved the basement TV up to our bedroom and the bigger and "smarter" TV to the basement to watch movies.

Our TSC is awful. I try not to shop there, but they are sometimes open when other places aren't.
It never fails, if you need 2 of something, they will have one, if you need 5 of something, they will have 4. Bolts, fence post, whatever, they will always be one or two short on the quantity you need. Also, sometimes you go in there and swear that are going out of business, with half the shelves bare. I've asked the employees about this, and they say that they have no say in what is stocked, corporate just sends them what they think they need. They were completely out of 1" hitch pins for over a year. They had a place marked on the shelf for them, but were out. I went in there looking for a 1" hitch pin, realized they were out, asked an employee when they would get some in, and he told me he didn't know. Just for fun, every time after that, when I was in there for something else, I'd look on the pin shelf to see if they ever restocked it. It was well over a year before a 1" pin ever got put back in stock.

I cannot say that about the 2 TSC stores I do business with. Every one in there, guys and gals, seem to be raised on a farm. It is a pleasure to shop at these two stores. They even give me discounts I did not know were offered.
