my corn is from shoulder high to head high and now I'm already thinking about getting in that L2. Not counting my chickens before they hatch, I just love old Gleaners. Had to get the sales brochures out yesterday just to have a look at everything from an E to an L3. There are no greater combines built in their day. My combine is stored miles away. Think I have to go pay it a visit. Bringing it home next month.

It is just amazing how much green stuff came out of the ground in the last week. Last Monday morning our corn was bent over bad from wind. Today, it is straight and 2 -3 times as big.
