WD45 rear main seal install

I've got about 3/16"  of the rear main seal sticking out of each side of the end caps. I know everyone says not to trim the seal, but this seams like a lot to squish down. Did I stretch the seal working it into the cap, or will this just crush down like normal? I don't remember that much extra last time I did one.

Like Dave said don't cut anything and watch my video he posted.
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

Thanks guys, I did watch the video yesterday before I started. Great info. Just seemed like a lot of seal to crush as I was tightening down the main.
