are they on gas pulling like plowing/disking I know where one is sitting in the weeds/briars and thinking about trying to buy I have never run a gasser before a diesel yes would rather have diesel but here they are hard to find

Better than a 706 gas or 4010 gas but still likes to drink. IMO the gas 262 is very reliable compared to the diesel version. Unless you are plowing a hundred acres with it I wouldn't get too excited about how much fuel it uses cause it's really not any worse than a D17 plowing when you figure the acres you covered.
