My belt broke on my deutz allis 5220. Does anyone have any advice on how to put the new one on? I have a new belt that is 44 inches and I have adjusted the alternator as much as I can, but it is still not long enough. Is there something else that I have to loosen or do I just need to get a longer belt.
I also downloaded the Service Manual I don't see anything about replacing a belt. I assume it's something simple that they figured we should all ready know. ![]() |

The parts books seem to indicate a 46" belt pitch length. I don't think there's much for it except getting a slightly longer belt.
