......I think it does......the last #, a "2" stands out clear, but I think there's a faint "D" after that, or am I  just seeing what I want to see out of scratches, dents, dirt and shadow? See what you think:

It would certainly be a help if you told us what Model of a D Series, and does it have a Diesel engine.

Pretty sure that's a WD45 in the pictures, and I don't see any D, not saying I haven't seen the occasional "hard to read" digit, but most have them all as easily readable as the rest of your numbers.

If you don't care about your paint, take a piece of 100 grit sand paper on a steel bar that is straight, and remove the paint, the shallow digit will appear most of the time if it is there.
