What rpm does a B pto turn.  Maybe a better question is at what engine setting does the pto run 540 rpm.  Thanks

A good guess would be at 1400-1500 engine rpm.  How do you tell the rpm? get a hand held, non contact tachometer.  You can rev the engine, till the pto gets up 540, then check what the engine revs are.... Not trying to be a smarta$$, just delivering info...Wink

Just run it wide open, and call it close enough.
