I have a spring trip plow, what I would call the trip latch appears to be a roller. Is it supposed to turn? Mine are tight and don't turn, do I need to get them loose? Thanks

Yeah they should turn. Mine are also frozen but I dont think that'll have a negative effect on it. From what I've heard from others they could actually trip to easy when loose and then they needed to have a shim wedged in the spring to help hold them from tripping.

I think your's is like mine and yes they should spin. I had to really work on mine to get everything freed up so they'd trip.
