Yikes... sticker shock at AGCO.....

Called the local dealer for a D-14 manifold gasket as Milton is leaking bad out the back.....
63 Canuck bucks!!! Even the parts guy said that seemed high! I was going to order two, said I'll hold off, got other bills to pay.
Looked online and most of the Allis dealers are about $10 US.hmmmm
There's an Allis guy near Holland,Mi and emailed them for cost... $46 USD !!! Yikes, that's crazy..same as the Canadian dealer once exchange is factored in. Sigh, time passes...
Go back online order from DJS tractor in Michigan for $9.50 each, get 2 as shipping here is 'free' as friend's in Holland. more time passes....The Allis dealer in Holland emails me again says there's TWO part numbrs for the gasket, same # but one has a 'v' after it. One is $46, the other $11 !!! Had she said that the first time, I'd bought from her as my friend could have WALKED to the store to pick them up !!
Oh well....

Have ya tried talking to Brenda, at Sandy Lake?  I bet she could tell you what the difference is, between the 2, and might have an aftermarket one, reasonable...
