I bought this from a celery farm in west Michigan.Its been in a barn for 15 years.I paid 1500 for it but its not running.hope to have running by next week end.Its missing the electric starter hes hoping to get it from the man that was going to rebuild it.we have a 2 acre garden cant wait till spring!!!

serial number is g 1797. makes it a 1948. It has a round steering wheel. Is standard or did someone change it?Did i get a deal on this?

I bought a new steering wheel for mine and have not changed it yet. The round one in not original.

i think having one of those would certainly make gardening more enjoyable...  i should talk my wife into getting one and i wont have to pull weeds!!

You have to pay the other $1500 to the price police [me] LOL. You hardly ever see one sold that low.
$3000 is about where most of them sell for.

My 48 G has the 2/3 steering wheel, I never saw one with a round wheel.
The universal answer to all questions is yes, how much do you want to spend?
