Went to get my wife's little dog from the vet yesterday, she had some dental work done, and the receptionist had a pup there she was looking to rehome.
Hmmm. 11 weeks old, German Shepherd/ St. Bernard mix. Going to be a biggun I'm thinking. Smart, friendly and very sharp teeth.
Forgot what pups were like, been awhile.

Wifes little dog hates her of course. She is kind of a in house Nazi.
It will all work out eventually.

That sounds like she'll be a big, fun dog.

Years ago I worked for a vet during high school and since then my parents have always had a source of dogs whenever they needed one. Those gals were always rescuing puppies/dogs from somewhere.

We have a Mastiff/Lab mix that's 9. His kennel is the garage. He would be in the house but he is such a slob no matter what. He's fine out in there. Good outdoor alarm, got a pretty good roar and is intimidating.
Loves this new playmate. It will be good.

Congratulations on the new family member! Having a new pup around is fun but it can also be a challenge at times. Glad the pup now has a great furever home.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.
