I have a 1949 WD Serial # wd32866 stamped on left rear brake below hole. Found because of info on this site. THanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am now trying to figure out if I have the original engine on the tractor. It has been upgraded to 12 volt system with a delco alternator and a distributor with points. Behind the Carburetor is a flat spot on engine block with the number 236423 stamped in it. It also has a power crater sticker on engine toward rear. Is there an engine registry where I can find out what I have ?

Thank you R Aiken, Looking at the chart you posted from Clemson,I believe the engine is the original. I figured the power crater engine sticker and decals/paint were a later 1990's addition.

Just to eliminate the possibility of a conversion to the power crater mod, using the same block. Was this done ? or even possible ? This is my first tractor, but I am eager to learn.........

Your engine could be a WD45 on the inside, or just a sticker on the outside, or somewhere inbetween.
