While I'm this far into it I am probably going to check the steering pump out and oil and water pump (any tips for these things?) I plan on just going by the manual and checking things out to make sure they aren't worn out. While I had it running a couple months ago it did seem to have a whining sound in the motor at the front which I'm guessing is the hydraulic pump so I'll probably look at that too...
Thanks Matt

Am I able to just flush the hole out before I roll the new bearings in with some spray? (Wd40 type spray)?

In other words I'm asking whether the oil gallery runs horizontal through the crankshaft or is it just a hole that's bored perpendicular to the bearing surfaces? I can't tell by my shop manual...

you should be able to BLOW out the ports with air... if the BEARINGS have not been installed on the mains/ rods .......... there can be DEAD ENDS if a bearing is in place.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
