Oil in the D17 Delco Remy distributor-Help!?

   Hello everyone.I came across this forum and saw all the Orange! How cool. I have a 59 D17 Gas with F11 loader....Ol reliable. Even the kids grew up driving it.
So I figure I'll start out with a nagging issue of Power steering/Governor box  fluid seeping up into the distributor and shorting points. In the past I just popped the distr out and drained it. It was good for about 10 hours. I really need to fix this ie my "round tuit."
 Last year swapped out the distributor for a rebuilt one and actually its a little worse.
Is there an o-ring in the shaft I'm missing  ? Or too  much pressure in the pwr/gov housing or ???
Anyone have any ideas, It would really be appreciated!
