Dave, Do you still have this head?  Any comments on condition / history?  Has it been checked for cracks?  Do you have the serial number / model number of the engine, i.e. 248UA?, and approximate year of engine manufacture?

 got it with my 816. The tractor had spun a main bearing so they put a rebuilt engine in it and kept the head. The tractor is a 1973. Head SN 037118904. haven't had it checked for cracks. You can give me a call tomarrow after 4pm cst 715-366-2567
