Were the rims of the G gray/silver or were they galvinized?
Thanks for any help.

Whenever I have a rim to redo, after it's really, really clean I give it 2 coats inside and out over 2-3 warm, sunny days.I figure if I don't do a GREAT job now, I'll have to look at it for the rest of my life.

We had the front and rear rims regalvanized & they look great! Did the same with my "CA" rear rims several years ago and they still look great.

ibleeorange. Your not far away from Rockford. Can't rememebr the outfit's name but it's a coating company I used several years ago to cold galvanize my G rims. Did a great job. You might want to check into it.

No but I'll see what I can do. Give me a day or two. Cold galvanizing is the original finish so they look just like they did when new. Also much more durable than paint.

This is the galvanizing done by Rogers when I received them back & then several years later when they turn to the final penta! (spelling may be wrong)

Hello Ibleedorange Just a thought, My local Pomps tire will sandblast and power coat wheels up to 24". I had a pair of 34" wheels done else where. I don't think I will sandblast and paint anymore wheels, power coat is a better way.
