    Posted: 08 May 2014 at 8:18pm
I recently bought an old Speed patrol, and was looking for some information on it.
The serial # is : 1E2263 What year does that make it? (the cab has a 1947 date on it)

One of the rear wheels has been destroyed by leaking calcium chloride.
I might be able to patch this one up enough to get the machine home on the trailer, but I will need a different one before the project is finished.
Was that type of 24” x 8” rim used on any other Allis products, or other brands of tractors?
Does anyone have a source for a replacement, or an extra wheel?
Is there a source for a parts manual for the Speed Patrol?

Thanks for any help.

I own a parts manual for the W Speed Patrol so if you e-mail me and ask for an area I can scan that page and then send you the info that way. I can not send the whole thing but can send a page here and there

If you find a 24" one piece disc style wheel off of a 1938 or 1939 Allic WC, that rim is what you need. Just grind off the rivets holding the center section in place and remove it.

Anderson Used Agri. Parts East of Swift Current on #1 highway should be able to help. It has been a few years since I stopped by but they said that they had a second yard down near the boarder where they kept the really old stuff. They said that they had some Aliis stuff there as well as other makes.
