For those with HD5 or 6 units I was on Dressta site earlier looking at a spec sheet for a machine for sale locally, they show NEW manufacture Dressta dozers built with 6.5"(165.1mm)pitch rails. Shoes are much wider than the old Allis units with the TD 8M available with 15 or 24" shoes.

Appears the larger track dozers (TD 14, 15M series) are using 7.5 pitch(190.5mm)or the old IHC Dresser severe service rails.

LiuGong Machinery Corp., a global construction equipment manufacturer based in Liuzhou, China, finalized its acquisition of HSW (Huta Stalowa Wola) and its distribution subsidiary, Dressta Co, early in 2012. LiuGong says it will continue to market HSW's products under the Dressta brand.

Dressta, formally International Harvester and then Dresser, was until 2005 a joint venture of Komatsu America and Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW), Poland. In 2005, the Komatsu interest in the joint venture was secured and Komatsu was removed from the ownership relationship.
