I had a leak at the PTO, took it apart 2 times, put it back together 2 times and it worked, but didn't take it apart far enough to fix the leak, 3rd time take it a part, had to have gear and bearing pressed off and on and put it back together the 3rd time and now the PTO don't work, and don't know why. Need some help.

And that would be way inside at the other end of the long shaft? Or the one right inside the when I take the lift arm and housing off?

if you have the 2 speed pto there is a coupling inside the hydraulic reservoir and another in the rear housing

Yes it is 2 speed, when I stated it back together I could feel it go into the splines deep in side, and I stated the long shaft in there before I put it back together, the splines deep inside have to line up before the line up pins on the housing, but I could be wrong, could I try the PTO with just the long shaft before I try to put the housing back on?

Okay, after looking deep in side and seeing the coupler and using a ling metal rod and flash light, yes I could see the coupler and feel that it had been pushed forward, and looking it over for hours,,,,, on the left side of the trans housing is a short leaver that looks like it needs a linkage rod to it, and lightly tapping on it with a hammer then looking bak inside and seeing that it moved the coupler towards the back so it would engage the pto, the lite came on,, this is a manual shift for the pto, and before I did all this I could see inside and see the pto turning, but when I put it back together the last few times nothing at the pro out side the rearend, so I am so happy as to have it fixed and not leaking.
