Hi All-
I tried putting in a new sending unit and fuel gauge on my 190, but can't seem to get a proper reading. I get a full deflection (Full) when the hot wire is put on the gauge, and no change when the sending unit wire is placed on the gauge. I found an earlier thread that the new gauges have to be grounded? It does have a third prong, while the old gauge does not. Any help would be great! Thanks, Troy P.S. I also tried grounding the sending wire at the sending unit itself and it deflected the gauge back to Empty...... |
