Considering buying an hd4. The machine will go in reverse but not in forward. The current owner says he bought it that way but couldn't figure out how to repair it. I am asking what are the possible issues with it not driving forward and what might be the cost involved?

It could be bad shuttle gear, or as simple as something stuck in forward reverse valve. Easy to check for pressure, hyd activated. HTH Tracy
