wondering if anybody still uses the old "X" style field tire chains? We use them on the 45 when plowing the north west clay field, we tried homemade bolt-on dual wheels but to no avail, and sold them a month later favoring the amazing traction of the chains.

I have a set with a big ring holding the X. I only use them for pushing snow when it gets icy. Kind of a pain to put on and you don't dare drive up the hard road to my brothers with em on. I almost thought I needed them today. Our new snow is wet and heavy with freezing rain on top and it's been above freezing for 6 or 8 hours now.
