Was around when I was maybe 1. This is my Dad and I, had to be summer of 1974 I guess. Mom pulled this old picture out this week while I was in San Anotnio visiting. Grandad's WD45 on the farm, looking pretty good.

Here is how the WD45 looks as of last weekend. Means so much to have the same tractor today!! The maiden voyage will be in his honor.

Jeff, Restoring that classic tractor has to be a labor of love.  Your GRANDFATHER'S Tractor.  I know it will get a first class restoration.  Let's see pictures when it is done.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.
Good Luck!

it's nice to look back and say back then....when I couldn't even remember I was there. The only picture I have of me on my great grandfather's CA was when I was 5. regardless, mine is going to be special. I'm having my grandmother write in memory of on the toolbox side, then their names on the other side then clear coat over it. You think of little things to make it more memorable as you go. I've seen some people clear coat over pictures on the hood. I think it makes all the difference when you're doing a personal restoration.
