Johnny Cash's, "One Piece at a Time"

After getting frustrated, by price and location, looking for an AC Model G to rebuild I remembered Johnny Cash's, "One Piece at a Time". I found 2 Montgomery Wards Garden Tractors that needed help. I got an 18 hp B&S with no front sheet metal, gas tank or dashboard for $50. I cleaned and rebuilt the carb and the engine ran. I took it for a drive and the transmission worked pretty well. I then found an 11 hp B&S, MW that had front sheet metal but missing engine parts for $75. I screwed, glued, bent and fitted the front sheet metal to the first MW. I built a dashboard from an old computer box and fitted the gas tank from the MW2. Got a nice seat from my deceased mother in law's Mobility Scotter. I had some Persian Orange #1 and an A-C decal left over from my Model C rebuild, so the new tractor is now added to my Orange fleet. I also added dual exhaust just because I could.

With that seat on there I hear medicade will pay for all or most of your new build with no out of pocket and they fill in the paper work!! Looks great,,,

If ya hadn't a told me I could have been convinced it was factory...I just don't know which factory.
