There are several different grills and colour combos for D-10/12 grills. A good starting point would be the tractor serial #.

If the grille is the diagonal expanded metal with 3 bars, color of the expanded metal will be silver and the bars black to match the black vinyl edging. If the grille has the rectangular mesh openings, the whole grille was painted cream.

There is a bit of a foggy transition period in late 1960 where the D-10/12's had the cream wheels, aluminium name plates but the bar type grill with the vinyl edging painted all cream. I have literature dated Dec 60 showing this combo. I've been trying to figure out with some parts book surfing just exactly when the D-10/12's started to be painted PO#2. I need more time to figure it out.
