saw a post about points coming loose and wondered what the dwell angle is for a wd? its been a long time since school and forgot a lot, or most of the info on dwell. bought a penske dwell meter from a guy who didnt know what is was and had to try to explain what is was to him. anyway i bought it for the tac and had to get books out to refersh myself. any help would be great. btw, my points loosened up on my wd, wich stsrted the whole dwell thing

Dwell adjustment is for those distributors made impossible to set the point gap. Set the point gap to specifications, then read the dwell on your dwell meter. Its probably about half the time, 90 crank degrees on a four cylinder engine. If you see dwell wandering about in value, then you need to pay attention to the shaft bushing in the distributor.
