hauled my wd45 home today that i bought on a sale last sunday in iowa. pulled home without a hitch! it's kinda modified, has a chevy motor in it and 2  transmissions, one ahead of the other. good clutch, good brakes, new seat, no pto. and partly repainted. don't see any leaks, don't know if it runs or not. no battery in it at the sale. got an extra set of front tires and wheels with it, all tires are good. as are the wheels. also an extra trans, and something else that's heavy! not sure where it might fit, but it's allis and orange! will have to tarp it over for now, no room in the sheds! the ole lady....ooops i mean my loving wife..thought it looked nice! (whew)!

Sounds like an interesting conversion. Was the 2nd tranny to gear down the motor? Glad that your loving wife likes it!

Post some pics, and tell us which Chevy motor... I'm betting that if they actually worked it, they geared it down so the Chevy could be spun a bit farther up it's powerband.
