I have a transmission pressure dummy light that flickers as I Drive my 7040. It doesn’t seem to be affecting the work -ability of the tractor, but I am concerned. I just changed the fluid and cleaned the screen and change the spin on filter and the light is still on. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for the help earlier on finding the screen.

Check the wire for rubbing and grounding out at times.

Is the light coming on/flickering at or above 1800 RPM?

Could be the sender. I had one fail instantly on engine oil pressure. Light came on running wide open. Shut it down. Got a guage and tested it. Had 75 psi. Boy that was a good feeling

Mine did the same thing. It wasn't connected and touching the frame. Go look at it.
