New member here, I'm having a hard time finding gaskets for a G-153 engine. I need the exhaust gasket but would happily buy a top end set, whatever it takes to quiet this thing down! I searched the web and tried to go through my local NAPA but had no luck. Any help appreciated

Thanks for the reply, problem is the gaskets they show on these sets must be a cross flow head, mine has old fashioned siamese manifold with individual gaskets for each port.
these sets that are offered show separate intake and exhaust gaskets with 4 ports each. Maybe I should just buy it and cut into pieces.......

thanks again, I just figured it out. I looked at the replacement manifold for the cockshutt and they sell the combo gasket seperately. Better picture of the gasket.

I got the engine fixed, the gasket I got from Steiners wasn't correct butI was able to modify it to fit my machine. The end ports on my engine are round and the gasket came with rectangular ports on the ends only. I cut the gasket into 3 pieces so I could move the ends over enough to sort of match the round ports and punched new bolt holes. worked just fine, running good now.
