Been quite a while since I have been out here but I have been using my old 11E (1958?) and threw a track last night. We were getting ready to pull the head (repowered with DD 471) for re-work and track popped over the idler rib on front left side. I need to get it back on but it will be super tight when the chain tries to go back over the idler rib. Looking at the tensioner my guess is it is frozen and will need to be cut to get slack; but what do I do then? I am guessing parts are unavailable and was wondering what others have done to engineer a tensioning system? Any tips or tricks to getting the track back on? Any and all help is deeply appreciated!!! Thank you!!!
