Hello everyone,
First post here, just to introduce myself I'm from England and have just bought a 1945 HD-7 which is fitted with a Baker Dozer setup. She's missing a few things including the headlamps as shown in the copy below of an HD-10 from the Operator's Manual and a cross-sectional view from the -7 parts book which also shows the tail light, would anybody know who made the original lights please? Ideally I'd really like to either find some NoS or restorable units but if not to copy some if they are 'unobtanium'. Really appreciate any advice you may be able to offer. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Guide company was the manufacturer...

Thanks guys! how on earth do you know that sort of stuff? AC always seem to make it difficult because the parts book never seems to list the original manufacturers.

8 inch guide lights will be hard to find and expensive when you do.

In my own experience, lots of years of going to auctions and picking through box lots!

Thanks Dave,
That would explain it! When was the last time you saw a set if you don't mind me asking and did the hammer price nearly give you a coronary? |

At auction around NW MD or SE PA, maybe up to $150-200, for an 8" 12 volt set depending if Fred is there! Last box full was in the last 2 years or so.
J/K, Fred!
