 Topic: Fiat allis 645b 1979mod hydrolic oil

hi there, im having a problem finding out how i can fill hydrolic oil on my fiat 645b. The metall skin around the hydrolic tank has a lid that i must open to acess the hydrolic tank inside the cabin behind the seat. But my problem is part of the lid goes under the backside of the cabin. i cant get it open. any tip out there ?

It seems strange if the cab manufacturer would get away with such a design?? Have you checked to see if you would be able to tap into the oil return line to the tank?

If you are stuck for ideas you can give these guys a call or email them. They rebuild these old Allis machines but they also build new ones much like the Allis line of loaders. They're in Sweden, just a hop and a skip over from you in Norway :)

i tried calling them in sweden, but they to dident have any idea how to open the lid. they said they have not had any fiat alis in there shop since 1995. soi am still stuck here. i have a parts manual. But it says nothing about how to get accses to the hydrolic tank.

i found out that i could open the wholde backside off the cabin and then reach the hydrolic tank. the old owner has insulated the whole cabin so i couldent see the latches for the backdoor.
