Howdy, Nobody wants to answer you for some reason. Let me. I have two of those new Briggs AC,s. A lot of horse power, them blades really turn. Also have the all wheel steer, nice but when turning tight you need some muscle on the steering wheel. To me just punched out tin, with Allis decals. Had a AC 620, now there is a lawn mower. Small tractor at least! Don't know if they still make them Briggs AC's yet.

I haven't seen any of the orange and white ones in dealerships recently. I think most of the newer ones are left-overs from the Craftsman Professional series (built by B&S Simplicity) that have been rebranded.

I guess the last of the "good" A-C mowers died with A-C.

I looked at one at the Simplicity dealer when we were looking for a new mower and almost went with one. But when you compare it to the decks on the new simplicity's it was no comparison. Would have been neat to have a "new" AC mower but like the other decks better. (and even those aren't as good as the old decks!)
