Its back! FB Ad now says tractor is a Farmall.
More pics in ad - show lots of rust damage. Rear rims are rusty/bent flanges. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/435885014349131/ This was stored in a moist environment. Likely the engine is rusted solid. Front tires seem ok, but rears likely ruined from sitting with flats. I suspect "buyer" backed out upon realizing this unit is best to part out. For a nice CA, see Paulb's ad from 3/1/2021. $1200 turn key. https://www.allischalmers.com/forum/allis-chalmers-ca-fs_topic178711.html It is much better than a $300 CA needing rear tires, rebuilt engine, wiring, paint, questionable trans... Yeah, I was lookin' at the rear tires. Didn't realize they're flat if they're all cracked and ruined. If they were good, you'd be getting a good deal on a set of tires and a Tractor that comes along with them! LOL! Does look pretty rusty, but my B looked worst than that if you could believe it, and I brought that back with not a whole lotta' dough...

Now sold.
And yes, the left rear tire sidewall was torn where it folded from the flat tire. So, $300 tractor. Sell cultivators -maybe get $100. Buy used tires $200/$900 new. Re-do wiring $50. Radiator ($180??), rebuilt engine $800. Exhaust/intake manifold ok ($175)? Battery $80. Unknown foot and hand clutches $$$$. So far, figure at least $1300 on the cheap side to make this worn out looking CA reliable, plus labor/TIME and hoping nothing else $$ is bad. Or just buy PaulB's CA after road testing it. To me, this is a no brainer. |
