Have come across an Allis Chalmers AD3 grader with I believe the serial no of 2F341 ? ( pretty hard to read. )
I have been able to source a manual and would ask if anyone knows when it was made. Regards

Serial #'s should be 3-4 digits, located on an aluminum tag on the grader frame, under your foot as you mount the grader, on the left rail, IIRR. 381 is lowest, 4310 highest.  '46-'51 were the production run...Thumbs Up

This gives some info which might help

The serial listed there doesn't look like the one you have listed.  BUT

Allis had a plant in Australia.  I don't know when it started up.  But the grader model and serial number for our AC Forty Five is nothing like the ones in the US sourced parts manuals.  I got it close to that series by a process  of fleaing the parts book on the "does it have that/ It doesn't have that " system.

Thank you all. Only ID showing on the frame is on the RHS facing forwards between the blade and the cab.
Will try and date with parts etc as suggested. Regards

The parts tracking system should get you to an equivalent US serial number group.  People here will be able to translate that into approximate year of origin.
