Managed to get the thing off to make repairs, but how to get proper torque on the corner nuts behind the torsion bar?

Don't know why you would need to remove it unless you were working on the torsion bar. Don't think there is a "torque" for those two lock nuts. I would normally say loosen each nut 2 full turns and remove the four bolts that hold the brackets and then disassemble. When assembling, tighten the two nuts 2 full turns tight and it is where it was before.

Okay thank you I will remember that. The reason I took it off was I wanted a flat surface to bolt my splitting stand to, I have to strip the housing bare and I have to be able to wheel it around in my cramped shop if other emergencies arise. (Can’t block the lift).
