pulled the 185 tonite for the 1st time. pulled in the 8,000 lb class   ended up in middle of the pack.20/21 tractors. our 185 is out of the field stock. pulled against some 4010's with turbos a hot rodded ford& turbo'd 686 ih. pulled against a turbo'd 180 that had me bye only 7-8 feet. I pulled in 1st high (big mistake should've used 2nd low) tractor bit real nice front tires slightly lifted at the 170ft mark and she bit and hung in there til spinning out at196.7. felt like it has good leverage and is balanced pretty good.the motor didn't even pull down any til I mashed on the brakes at the end. I had to remove 2 cab doors to get it right at 8,000. pete

Your spinning out was not a big mistake by using high 1st. Everytime you pull, you'll learn something. Bet you had a good time and are ready to do it again !
