I'm looking at a FA HD11B this weekend and I'm getting tools/supplies lined up for inspection and possibly trying to start the old gal. If condition is good, and inspection of fuel pump looks clean and components move freely, I will try to start. What is the socket size for the crank bolt in case I need to rotate the engine to align to TDC to remove fuel pump if needed?

FWIW as a maybe guide -
I'm not near our AC Forty Five grader at the moment but - I have a socket set that goes up to 2 inches and IIRC the socket for that is just below the 2 inch one (Selected regularly when greasing the PTO U-joints) Edited by Ian Beale - 23 Oct 2024 at 7:56pm |
