Picked up this 51 WD #WD88193. Has a #17 trip loader just like the one that used to be on my WD45. Think I'll paint it up and put it on as a conversation piece.
This one I think will be restored for the wife to putt around on. Edited by AC WD45 - 02 Jan 2024 at 6:38am |

Shoot me a pm quote on both. My 57 wd45 has always had a charging issue I can't seem to solve. Both are 6v. The 57 WD45 uses 2 batteries. The secondary 6v is in a WC box on the frame rail in the wc factory location. That battery is hooked direct to the starter. Thanks!!!! |

I feel like I don't see many of that model of loader. They're interesting. Good save.

Freeman made that loader. There were two versions that had that wrap-a-round frame. The model 14 made for the D-14 tractor and the model 17 made for the D-17 tractor. The model 9 loader was made for the WD and WD-45 tractors. I would assume holes had to be drilled in the side frames of the tractor to mount that loader on a WD.

Yes sir, 2 of them. It's the only reasON I'm willing to put it on my wd45, we had a 17 loader mounted on it 20 years ago, so the extra two holes are already there. |
