    Posted: 20 Jun 2018 at 8:33pm
Greetings, all. I am a newbe here and a recent proud owner of a restored B210. I was getting ready to connect up a mower deck to this recently restored unit, and was wondering what mower deck belt (to the deck pulley) this thing takes? The previous owner did not complete the restoration but included a 42" (I believe) deck and a belt - ( Simplicity # 168171), which seems about 2-3" too short to fit. It also is a "double -V" that seems to fit into the larger drive pulley on the unit. Is this the correct belt. or is there another, or is something else not right?
Thank you in advance.

Yup - your belt is 2" too short.

B210 uses a 44.0" belt, not necessary to be double V.

Allis #2025341, Goodyear 84440

There is a Lever under the L/H axle to swing down to loosen the belt for replacing belt.

Is your deck 42" or 48" ?

Thank you for that info Gary. I believe it is a 42" deck, in decent shape. I will plan on cleaning it up and giving it a paint job. Hope it cuts well.
