Gerald....... saw your post about all the different plow bottoms AC put on their frames and the rather poor description and pictures of the different bottoms.  Are there numbers stamped on the frog?  Where?  I think some pictures and  better descriptions would be a great addition to Plows 101.  Seems like every mounted AC plow I look at has a different bottom on it.

Do you think the 3rd bottom part of the frame for a 73 series would fit on the 82 series frame?  The frames of the 70 and 80 series look to be identical.   I would think the bottoms would have to be the same or it would pull/turn funny.  What do you think?

I agree some pictures would be nice. I guess for that to happen guys that KNOW what bottom they have would need to post some pictures and measurements.

I think, like you say, the 70 and 80 frames are the same. The difference is just the beam connecting to the frog. It's either shear bolt style, or spring trip.
