Looked at it this morning. I believe it has set outdoors for 20 years. 3 point quadrant was frozen. PTO clutch was rusted in the engaged position. Very week hydraulics on the loader. Open station and the floor was rusted out. Seat was rotted. Tack did not properly function, 3/4 throttle showed 800 rpm. AND he started it with a screwdriver across the solenoid. I didn't even drive it, guy said the clutch needed adjustment......replacement???? What a shame! Thought it might be the cherry and it was the pit! Maybe worth $1000 for scrap?

Cranking from the seat is such a huge mindset thing. And easy to fix. Why would anyone sell a tractor that you must start with a screwdriver. Laaaazy

Lesson learned: avoid tractors that are described as being in "fair" condition! It's pretty open to interpretation.

Since its so simple what's wrong with my 7580? Good journeyman electrician looked at it 3 times still no go.

My favorite by far is the build-up in the description where they list most every part recently installed and tout how strong the unit runs, "don't miss out on this opportunity to own a true classic", or something of that nature.
Then you review the pictures only to find a visibly rusted oil or fuel filter . . . . .
