Spent a few days cutting and loading.  Did all the loading with the D14.  Loaded on my trailer and went a mile down the road to my friends house,  He burns in the shop.  He has a hoist and any tool I've ever needed, so I think I'll be able to use it when wanted.  The second tree I didn't measure but I think about 26 - 28" dia.  I brought the last of it down today.

BTW - I did not cut down a cherry tree!

Those are big cherry trees. Have not seen any in this area even close to that big. Those would make some beautiful lumber.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

yep...sell the big parts for lumber, cut up the small parts for smoking wood, and the medium stuff can go to the wood stove!

The property owner tried to sell the wood, but was turned down due to not enough trees.  They are right across the road from me and they were elated for us to take the trees.  They did all of the cleanup and burned all of the branches, so it was a pretty sweet deal.

How much do you need??? I'm a lot closer than Michigan! I've got that stuff growing in every fence row on the farm.
