I have noticed that some spark plugs say they have a "coralox insulator".  I have goggled this and cannot seem to find much about it.  Are these spark plugs really any different than a regular spark plugs on the shelf today?  As always, thanks in advance!

From a quick search on the internet it seems as if this is vintage technology so yes it is likely better that what is out there today. On fleabay these seem to command a premium price.
