Been workin on yellow summer squash and onions for now. ![]() ![]() onions in the 5 trays ![]() one batch had 5 quart bags and one had 8 bags----- still workin on more.It's the only way to store them since these are not the storage type onions squash plants ![]() some of the onions ![]() |

![]() Harvest-right 5-tray model. Everything is computer controlled on it. There is no off-flavor in the finished product like there is with dehydrating. It uses sensors to decide how much time is needed and uses very low heat to do the drying. When done and turns off, there is still ice on the sides of the chamber but trays are warm to the touch, food is bone dry and ready to store.

I have wondered how they do that. We buy some freeze dried fruit and add to honey. Thanks for posting this. Interesting.
