Does anyone know off the top of there head if any of the more commonly available sickles are a direct replacement for the sickle on my #3 mower?

I'll take a guess and say yes. if the sickle bar is the same as the one on the #7, I think that the sickle # is A- which is stamped on the sickle.My son-in-law has an old ford mower and uses the same sickle knifes. I picked up mine at Tractor Supply. HTH. John
