Looking for some tips on this.  Trying to pull the flywheel off to get access to the rest of the wiring harness.  Pulley is off, center bolt to crank shaft is out.  I've installed a large 3 jaw pulley onto the fly wheel with the jaws on the ring gear and the center going through where the crankshaft bolt was and it will not come off.  This is the aluminum flywheel.  I put an lp gas infared heater pointed at it for probably 40 minutes and still no luck.  any thoughts?  My dad suggest a plate bolted to the flywheel through the pulley bolts with a pusher bolt in the middle but i'm nervous i would strip the thread holes.  thanks david

didn't get my puller burned in time but I remembered dad had a steering wheel puller and that took care of it.
Thanks

When you have a puller on something with tension on it it sometimes helps if you give the center screw on the puller a good smack with a hammer. Hit the end of the screw that the wrench goes on, the shock goes down the screw to the shaft and sometimes pops the shaft out of the hub.
